REQUIREMENTS
PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO STARTING AND CONTACT US IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF ANYTHING, THANKS ;-)
- Export a rough mix of your track as it sounds today, with the project name, artist name and the words "Rough Mix 1" in the title.
- Export individual stems of your instruments, samples and vocals. No Bus effects, EQ or Compression on the stems please. That includes anything on the master bus such as compression or limiting.
- Save stems to a folder with your project name, artist name and current date in the folder title. All stems must be in WAV format!
- Please do not normalize the stems when exporting.
- Make sure the stems are all the full length of the track for synchronising purposes.
- Please create an empty project before sending the files and import all stems into it to check you are happy with the stems and they follow all the criteria above.
- Use the imported stems to create a rough mix of where you want the balance of tracks to be. Export the rough mix into the folder with the name of the project, artist name and the words "Rough Mix 2" at the end.
